Life.

All my tears have dried,
All these years I lied.
They say I have changed,
How do I explain them,
that evolution is a game,
I won something,
I lost something.


Cursing my present,
I am trying to ignite my future,
attached to my past,
I still nurture.

Life is unpredictable. 

Anything can happen at any moment. You might win a lottery, you might fail a test, you might get the highest score in a test.  You might bump into your nemesis and get in a fight with them. 

This uncertainty is truly overwhelming at least for me... It makes my heart flutter, makes me anxious to even think about it. 

Do you feel the same?


Life is short. 

It feels like it was just yesterday that I started school now here I am; It’s my last year in school. It feels terrifying to me to see things go by so fast. 

It is tense and challenging for me. 

Do you feel the same?


Life is strange. 

We grow up thinking that fairies and monsters exist. Then we realize yes they exist. They both reside within us.

It’s weird to think about how our thoughts, our minds, our feelings change so much in a matter of a few years. 


While worrying about this, we forget that without it, our life wouldn’t be as charismatic as it is. Without it, we would bore ourselves to death. 

So, yes; not knowing what comes next is scary but let’s try to accept it. Let’s just try to not cling up to our past. Let’s try to not focus on things that are out of our control. 


It is bizarre how we can get so attached to our past, trying to live the present in the hope of a promising future. It’s bizarre yet okay in my opinion. 


It’s okay to worry about your future.

It’s okay to feel attached to our past; to feel sad while thinking about it. 

It’s fine. 

But at some point in life, one has to let go of their past and move forward. 


Life is limiting; the feelings are limitless.  

Life is unpredictable; it doesn’t mean that we have to live it overthinking our every step.

Life is strange; it doesn’t stop us from living.


Life is uncertain, short and bizarre,

It do feel like a bazaar,

A beautiful, wicked bazaar.

Industry disruptors and soul deconstructors And smooth-talking hucksters out glad-handing each other And the voices that implore, "You should be doing more" To you, I can admit that I’m just too soft for all of it. I spy with my little tired eye, tiny as a firefly, a pebble that we picked up last July. I remember tired me listening to this song for the first time on my way back home from college. Walking a blue path, silent No one in sight No left or right Just yellow light Birds whisper softly in air Who is she? Where does she dare?
